If you love to travel, and you're planning to visit a new destination this year, we've got you covered: below you'll find all the essential info about travelling during the pandemic to magical Portugal.

A PCR test is required to enter Portugal, and it must be taken no earlier than 72 hours before boarding the plane. Countries are divided into three categories according to the number of cases per 100,000 inhabitants. Most countries in Europe belong to the 1st category, meaning they can travel to Portugal only with a negative test taken no earlier than 72 hours before flying, without mandatory quarantine. Before the trip, we definitely advise you to double-check new information about regulations currently in force.

Masks are mandatory for everyone older than 10,  in public spaces and streets (wherever it's not possible to maintain a safe distance). Beaches do not require masks, with the exception of entryways and restaurants on the beach.

The Portuguese islands (Madeira and the Azores) autonomously determine their regime, most importantly testing and pre-registration of arrival. It's necessary to announce your arrival online and pay attention to the 72-hour deadline for testing before your flight!

If you're going to travel, travel safely and responsibly! Follow all the prescribed measures, but don't forget to enjoy the beauty of Portugal!
